 After
the fall of the Soviet Union, Covenant Productions sent one of the first crews to Russia
to document the new freedom of the Russian Orthodox church and the work of Western
missionaries.
We found a people disillusioned by the failure of Communism, yet unsure
of the promise of democracy. Older persons welcomed freedom of worship, while a younger
generation refused to acknowledge the existence of God.
