 After
the fall of the Soviet Union, Covenant Productions® sent one of the first crews to Russia
to document the new freedom of the Russian Orthodox church and the work of Western
missionaries.
We found a people disillusioned by the failure of Communism, yet unsure
of the promise of democracy. Older persons welcomed freedom of worship, while a younger
generation refused to acknowledge the existence of God.
