Covenant Productions enters the world of
High Definition in March of 2007 with the purchase of Sony's XDCAM HD Cine
Alta system. The addition of Sony's PDW-F350L HD camcorder and additional
support gear will take Covenant's high production values even higher still.
Even if a project does not demand HD delivery, shooting in HD and downconverting to standard definition will still see the benefits of this
state of the art Sony camera. In addition to MPEG HD recording at 1080i, the
PDW-F350L is able to record in DVCAM. Utilizing Sony's Cine Alta technology,
XDCAM HD Cine Alta is able to record at variable frame rates from 4fps to
60fps, including 24p.
