Frequently Asked Questions about Covenant Productions®1. What is Covenant Productions®?Covenant Productions® is a television production company providing a wide variety of services for clients. We work with clients at all stages of the video production process: conception, scripting, production, editing, DVD authoring, and duplication. Although we're conveniently located at the crossroads of the U.S.A., Central Indiana, we serve clients across the country and even around the world. It's quite possible you have seen our work.Many of our clients are religious organizations representing the Christian faith, seeking to spread the Good News around the world. However, we work with clients of all fields: health care, education, entertainment, transportation, manufacturing and others. We work hard at telling our clients' stories.2. What do clients have to provide in order for a video to be made?As little or as much as you'd like. Often clients meet with us simply saying they would like to have a video to promote their business. After analyzing the business and asking many questions, we pitch a concept and move on from there. All stages of the process are approved by the client, so there are no unpleasant surprises when the video is done. We firmly believe in the covenant relationship, where we work hand in hand with clients.3. How much will my video cost to produce?Creating a video is like buying a car. What kind of car do you need? A subcompact? A mini-van? A luxury car? Fitting the niche of the target audience is what is important. Spend no more money than is necessary to bring the audience to where you'd like them to be. In many situations, we can work with the client to adjust the time spent in production to meet almost any budget. We'd be happy to meet with you to discuss your project.4. What about duplication?When you hire us to produce your project, we can handle it from start to finish, including duplication...whether it be on DVD or VHS. On especially large orders we will hire a company that specializes solely in duplication. We charge a modest fee for the service and then we deal with the hassles of phone calls, delivery, return of bad duplicates and the like. If you've had your project produced somewhere other than Covenant we can accommodate small duplication orders. For larger orders produced out of house we can give you contact names and you can arrange for duplication from your master.5. Do you distribute videos?At this time, the only programs we distribute are ones we produce in house. This includes the annual national broadcast of Candles and Carols.6. Can Covenant videotape on location?Absolutely. We have impressive single camera film-style and live multi-camera packages and the crew to provide high quality shoots at low cost. We've shot on location on location around the globe in the freezing cold to the searing heat. We've worked with animals, children, and the most dangerous of all, professional talent.7. Does Covenant have studio facilities?Our studio is one of the best in Central Indiana. Clients have traveled from out of state to work here. We've done music videos, instructional programs, interviews, and more here.8. What sort of editing facilities does Covenant have?Covenant has two professionally designed non-linear edit bays available.9. Our staff is generally pretty happy and turnover has been extremely low. Should there be openings, they will be posted here.
